Editor and publisher of West Bend Journal from April, 1919, to January, 1947. Married May Schlichtemier June 29, 1927, at Nehawka, Nebraska. Father of three children, Barbara Jean, Richard Dean and Kathryn Ann. Member of school board at West Bend 15 years, eight years president of board. Member Methodist church, A.F. & A.M. 514; R.A.M. 108; York Rite 70; patron of O.E.S. 15 years. Member 52nd, 52nd Extra G.A., 54th. Serving third term.
