Osceola Clarke County Republican Born on a Clarke county farm, January 20, 1920, son of former Senator Floyd Jones and Elizabeth Tice Jones. Attended rural schools and was graduated from Osceola high school, Osceola junior college and the State University of Iowa. Served three years as a Lieutenant in the United States navy during World War II, thirty months of which were overseas. Married Catherine Dickinson of West Palm Beach, Fla., and they are the parents of three children, twins, Floyd Arden and Fred Otice and John Hammond. Engaged in the restaurant business in Osceola. Member of Methodist church, Farm Bureau, American Legion and Toastmasters' International. Serving second term.
