Fort Madison Lee County Democrat Born in Brookfield, Missouri, February 12, 1900. Attended Park college and Kirksville State normal school. Served in World War I. Discharged at age 18. Married Delia Leona Meek of Springfield, Missouri, August 1926. Served as Lee county recorder five terms, Lee county supervisor one term and as member of Rationing Board during World War II. Is a member of the firm of Burton, Dorn and Wells, real estate brokers of Fort Madison, Iowa. Belongs to the Presbyterian church, Masonic lodge, Order of the Eastern Star, White Shrine, Izaak Walton League, Lions club and the American Legion. Serving first term.
