Vice president and director of Wayne County Mutual Insurance Association and also an insurance agent. Has served as clerk of district court, inheritance appraiser for 20 years, AAA committeeman and assessor. Is a graduate from high school and business college. A Protestant, a Mason and a member of Za-Ga-Zig Shrine. Has lived in Corydon for the past eight years. Married to Ruth Hays of Seymour, Iowa, in 1913. Has one son, Fred, and three daughters, Paulla, Thelma and Marciabelle and six grandchildren. Serving second term.
