Nashua Chickasaw County Republican Born on a farm near Nashua, Iowa, June 27, 1892, the son of Carl and Eva Peterson. Educated in both country and town schools. Married to Rilla Butler, April 18, 1917. Has one son, Roger, who now operates the 240-acre family farm. Member of the Methodist church, Lions club and Farm Bureau. His public activities include member of school board, township trustee, director of Farm Bureau, secretary of Nashua Cooperative Creamery, director of Nashua Equity and Lumber Co., and director of the Big 4 Fair Association. Has for many years been a prominent breeder of registered Holstein cattle and purebred Duroc hogs. Serving his second term.
