He has lived his entire lifetime in Dallas county where he is actively engaged in farming, and is a prominent livestock feeder. Has served for twenty-five years on the county board of education; a charter member of the Farm Bureau; a member of the Rotary club and Masonic lodge. Since World War II, has traveled extensively in Europe where he made a study of economic conditions. He has also traveled in the United States, Canada and Mexico. He is married, has three children, one son and two daughters. Serving his third term.
