Dallas Center Dallas County Republican Born at Waukee, in Dallas county, February 16, 1894. Educated at the Waukee high school and attended the Capital City Commercial college in Des Moines. He has lived his entire lifetime in Dallas county where he is actively engaged in farming, and is a prominent livestock feeder. Has served for twenty-five years on the county board of education; a charter member of the Farm Bureau; a member of the Rotary club and Masonic lodge. Since World War II, has traveled extensively in Europe where he made a study of economic conditions. He has also traveled in the United States, Canada and Mexico. He is married, has three children, one son and two daughters. Serving his third term.
