Ottumwa Wapello County Democrat Son of W. S. and Fanna Scott McReynolds. Born, October 26, 1890. First 21 years was spent on farms in Wapello and Keokuk counties. Since 1912 has been employed as street car conductor and bus driver in Ottumwa. Has served in all offices of bus drivers organization, Local No. 199, A.F.L. and now serving as secretary-treasurer. Married to Wilma Hite of Henry county. Father of one daughter, Mrs. John C. Heiss, and one son, Hurvey S. McReynolds. Member of Loyal Order of Moose and Plymouth Congregational church. An auditor of the Iowa State Federation of Labor. Served in the 51st and 56th General Assemblies.

Entire life has been spent in Wapello and Keokuk counties. First twenty-one years was spent on a farm. Since 1912 has been employed as a street car operator and bus driver in the City of Ottumwa. Married to Wilma Hite of Henry County. Father of one son, Hurvey McReynolds and one daughter, Mrs. John Heiss. President of Bus Drivers A.F. of L. of Ottumwa. Vice President of State Association of Bus Drivers and Street Railway Operators A.F. of L. Auditor of Iowa State Federation of Labor affiliated with A.F. of L. Member of Loyal Order of Moose. Fraternal Order of Eagles. Serving first term.
