Tabor Fremont County Republican Born in Papillion, Nebraska, May 8, 1876. Son of Caroline and Andrew Bloedel. Attended rural schools in Nebraska, moving to Iowa in 1893. Married Sarah Weatherhead in 1904, and they have five daughters and two sons, Kathryn, Dorothy, Josaphine, June, Madge, Raymond and Robert. Has been in the hardware business in Tabor since 1902. Past president of the Community club; past president of the Tabor and Northern Railroad; trustee of Tabor college for fifteen years; bank director thirty-five years. A fifty-year Mason and a member of the Knights of Pythias and the Congregational church. Serving third term. His death occurred September 9, 1955.
