Sioux City Woodbury County Democrat Born in Graettinger, Iowa, May 6, 1892, the eldest son of B. J. Bergeson, who served Palo Alto county as representative in the 32nd General Assembly, and Minnie Bergeson. Attended Iowa State college and Morningside college. Married Lillian Petersen of Newhall, Iowa, November 20, 1915. Has one son, John, a student at the State University of Iowa. Was superintendent of schools at Newhall, Iowa, 1912-1917 and at Center Junction, Iowa, 1917-1919. Livestock commission merchant in the Sioux City stock yards since 1919 and manager of the Mid-West Livestock Commission company since 1921. Member and past president of the Sioux City Livestock Exchange. Is a member of Morningside Presbyterian church, Chamber of Commerce (past director), Masons (Abu Bekr Temple), B.P.O.E., F.O.E., Woodbury county Farm Bureau.
