Mount Ayr Ringgold County Republican Earl T. Hoover, Mount Ayr, is a farm and livestock owner. Born on a farm near Delphos, he was educated at Delphos school, the Capital City Commercial College and Drake University. The Hoovers have a son, Dr. E. E. Hoover of Fort Dodge. Mr. Hoover farmed and was in the banking business for several years. After 18 years as Ringgold county Treasurer, he retired in 1950. He has served on the Mount Ayr board of education and in various township offices and many civic projects. He is a member of the Christian church, the Masonic lodge, O. E. S. and Farm Bureau. Serving third term.
