Albia Monroe County Democrat Born in Monroe county, Albia, Iowa, May 27, 1901, the eldest son of Michael and Ellen Falvey. Educated in the Albia schools, attended St. Ambrose College, Davenport, and graduated from the State University of Iowa, 1925. Elected to scholastic honorary fraternity, Phi Beta Kappa. In the same year he married Katherine Ann Mull of Muscatine, Iowa. His father was a member of the 45th and 46th General Assemblies. President of the First Iowa State Bank, Albia. Partner of Falvey Brothers lumber yard and farm. A member of St. Mary's Catholic church, Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus, past president of Albia Rotary and Country clubs, a member of the Albia Chamber of Commerce and Farm Bureau. Served three terms. Died July 23, 1957.
