Brooks Adams County Democrat A farm owner and operator. Born in Imogene, Iowa on January 31, 1897. Son of Chris and Dina Lund. Attended public schools and took additional business courses. Served in the Artillery during World War I. Director of First National Farm Loan Association at Red Oak. State Director of Iowa Rural Electric Cooperative Association in Des Moines. Director of Adams County Cooperative Electric, Corning, Iowa. A former Farmers Home Administration Director and former member of the Directors Advisory Committee of the Federal Land Bank in Omaha. Member of the American Legion, the Farm Bureau and the Presbyterian church. Father of a son and three daughters. Serving first term.
