Spirit Lake Dickinson County Democrat Born April 16, 1911, in Des Moines. Son of Charles F. and Gertrude Johnson Weik. Educated Rossie, Iowa public schools. Married Beulah Adams, Greenville, Iowa, December 16, 1934. Father of three daughters; Jo Ann (Mrs. Marvin Bragg), 23, Dallas, Texas; Judy Rae, 19, student at University of Iowa; Joy Jean, 12, student at Spirit Lake. One grandchild, Dennis Dale Bragg. Served in the Merchant Marine during World War II. Lived on and operated a farm in Clay county 1934-1943. Co-owner and operator of Weik Implement Company, Spirit Lake 1946-1957. Owner and operator of a farm on the stock share basis. Sales representative of the Pioneer Hi-Bred Corn Company for the past 23 years. At present time is sales representative of the Vernon Company of Newton. Member of the Methodist church, Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite bodies, Toot patrol of Abu Bekr Shrine, Legion of Honor member of De Molay, Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis, Izaak Walton League. Serving second term.

At present time is coowner and operator of Weik Implement company in Spirit Lake and owner and operator of a farm on the stock share basis. Member of Methodist church, church board, Masonic lodge, Scottish Rite bodies, foot patrol member of Abu Bekr Shrine, Legion of Honor, member of DeMolay, Dickinson county director in Implement Dealers association, member of Chamber of Commerce and Izaak Walton League. Serving first term.
