Educated in the public schools of Jerome and Centerville. Married to Frances Hamm, October 7, 1937. Has one son, Keith, and one daughter, Diana. Has been actively engaged in farming since 1937. Served on the board of the Appanoose county Farm Bureau for six years, and was chairman for two years. Was a member of the Jerome school board for nineteen years. Serving third term.
