Douds Van Buren County Republican Born at Douds, Iowa, April 27, 1904, the son of Thomas F. and Mattie Findlay Nutt. Attended school at Douds, Iowa, graduated from high school there and attended Iowa State University. Married Madelyn Bernice Blakeway September 1925. He has two sons, Lt. Thomas Nutt, Jr., and Lt. j.g. John Carson Nutt, both serving in the U.S. Navy. Also one daughter, Mrs. Caroline Kunzman at Roswell, New Mexico. He has served as a member of the Douds Board of Education and the Van Buren County Board of Education. He is a member of the Methodist church and several Masonic orders. Serving second term.
