Knoxville Marion County Democrat Mr. Eggers was born in Burlington, Iowa, May 16, 1896. He married Opal I. Cardiff November 29, 1923, and they have two sons who live in Knoxville. He has six grandchildren. He is a farmer and stockman, raising Aberdeen Angus cattle. Member of the Marion county Fair Board. Past member and secretary of the Pella Co-operative Electric Association. He is a member of the school board and a member of the Methodist church. He is serving his first term.
