Chickasaw County Democrat Born in Chickasaw county near Ionia, Iowa, May 4, 1895. Son of Michael and Anna Cagley. Graduated from Ionia High School in 1913. Married Bernice Cushing of Sioux City in 1923. Has six children, five daughters, Shirley, Gwendolyn, Barbara, Maxine and Charlotte and one son, Marion C. Owns and operates 300 acre farm in partnership with son. Served as township assessor, county AAA committee six years, Farm Bureau president for three years, township school secretary for many years. At present is member of board of education of Nashua community school district. Member of Congregational church. Serving first term.
