Council Bluffs Pottawattamie County Republican. Born in Omaha, Neb., Sept. 25, 1926. Educated in Nebraska and Iowa. Graduated from Creighton University, B.S. in 1949 and LL.B. in 1951. Practicing attorney-at-law since 1951. Served as bombardier, U. S. navy, during: World War II. Wife's name is Grace. They have four children: Susan, Richard, William and Emily. Member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Council Bluffs; Optimist Club; Iowa Bar Association; American Legion. Serving first term.
