Married Elizabeth E Robinson, of Schaller, May 28, 1934, and is the father of two children: Byford D., age 27, who is principal of the high school at Scranton, Iowa, and L. Joan, age 24, who is teaching at a Presbyterian boys school in Memphis, Tenn. Moved from Schaller to farm near Alta in 1946, and has been engaged in farming since 1954. Member of Masonic Lodge, York Rite, Shrine. Serving fourth term.
