Two terms on Muscatine City Council, elected two terms as Mayor. Member: Elks, Masons, Shrine: Director Southeast Iowa League, member Transportation and Communications Policy Committee, National League of Cities, Board Area Substance Abuse, member Izaak Walton League. Second term.
