Served two terms on Calamus School Board, Ground Mound Telephone Association, and past president of the Church Council and Calamus Lions. Current member of Iowa Cattlemen's Association, Iowa Pork Producers Association, FFA Alumni Association, Farm Bureau, American Legion, Iowa Angus Association, the Calamus-Wheatland Education Foundation, and St. John's Lutheran Church. Wife Eunice; two children and three grandchildren. Serving first term in House.
