I support HF 2280 This is an excellent change to IPI for these reasons. Home education has a long, successful history in Iowa. Many home educators have spent decades "in the trenches," refining their skills and building their resumes. These changes to IPI allow Iowa parents access to these valuable veterans in a way that will bless a new generation of home educators and allow these veterans entrepreneurial opportunities. This is a solution that truly puts parents in the driver's seat of their children's education. As parents are the most invested in their children, they are the best to discern which IPI home educators serve their family's needs. Additionally, much home education takes place in single income house holds. The ability for these educators to open up seats in their homes to other students, potentially in the same grades as their own students, provides them income opportunities to fund their homeschool without creating unnecessary dependency on taxpayerfunded solutions. Please pass HF2280

I support HF 2280. As a homeschool mother, I owe my success to other homeschool mothers who have paved the way with tried and true education methods. This bill expands the options and opportunities for homeschooling families to have the support they need to be successful without increasing taxes. Please pass HF2280.
