This is a photo of my grandfather, Charles Knox, with one of his American Cream Draft horses in the 1940s. As my grandparents raised their 11 children, Charles developed and raised American Creams and farmed with them 19251950 in Hamilton, Hardin, Franklin, and Webster counties in Iowa. I am in favor of making the only draft horse native to the United States, founded and developed in Iowa, the State Horse of Iowa!Best wishes,Barbara Knox Homrighaus
