2020 Iowa Acts, ch. 1116, Sec. 31, https://www.legis.iowa.gov/docs/publications/iactc/88.2/CH1116.pdf said we were going to get federal funding protection, and here we are with the department of corrections complaining about it in 2024, four years later. Can we get serious about this? Senate File 69 would create a legal taks force to get moving on this. Add the text of Senate File 69 to this bill as an amendment. We are we promoting federal crime in Iowa? The department of corrections can see that clear as day. Listen to them.
