Lowell Luhman [Retired Obstetrician and Gynecologist]
Dear Sirs,It is extremely important that doctors are protected to practice medicine according to their conscience. It has always been accepted fact in the practice of medicine and must continue. If not it would force a significant number of doctors to move or retire Please give the bill before you due consideration.Thank You,Lowell Luhman, MD

Nikolas Nartowicz [Americans United for Separation of Church and State]
Americans United for Separation of Church and State urges you to oppose SSB 3006. Under the guise of religious liberty, this bill would allow medical practitioners, health care institutions, and health care payors to refuse to participate in or pay for nearly any health care service, thereby creating a serious threat to the health and wellbeing of patients. Freedom of religion is a fundamental American value that protects everyones right to practice the religion of their choice or no religion at allso long as they dont harm others. This bill should be rejected because it would result in harm to patients and, thus, violates the U.S. Constitution. Please see the attached letter for more details.
