Please vote yes on this. I had to fight to get joint physical custody of my two. It cost me 27,000 over ten years ago. I understand there are some bad parents. But for fathers we have to prove above and beyond we deserve the right to have an equal voice. I never wanted anything more than 5050 with my X wife. Before the divorce I was a Cub Scout leader, coach, Sunday school teacher, and yet, I had to prove in court that I was worthy. After divorce I continued to be all of those things I was going before. Having this allowed me to have a true voice in how our children were raised. My children werent able to be used as pawns. We keep saying we want equality in the state, but fathers have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt they are worthy of joint physical custody.
