I hope we could include mandatory reporting of teachers and other administrative faculty promoting child pornographic material and gender identity as gateways to child sexual abuse. Allowing drag queens and subjective reading material that is age inappropriate are tools for child grooming and should be criminalized for perpetrators that aid and abet in the sexualization of innocent children. We want our Iowa schools to be safe from state sponsored transgender manipulation and emotional abuse. The process for removing these harmful behaviors is to identify them and eradicate them.

There are too many instances of inappropriate relationships between school employees and students. We must protect our children from people who seek to groom them by having access to children as a school employee. Please consider adding additional language to this bill to define additional grooming or abusive actions by school employees, including providing pornographic and obscene books and materials to students in the classroom or the school library.
