As a representative of Mindspring Mental Health Alliance, we believe this bill is a step backwards in oversight of the guardianship/conservatorship process. It increases risk of financial exploitation and abuse of protected persons. We recommend this bill not pass subcommittee today and await for a new bill by Dawson to be released the second week of Feb that will better protect these individuals.
