OPPOSE Vaccines are already available at pharmacies and clinics, which are much more widespread and rural than Podiatrists. Would we do this with other drugs that carry serious risks including death? Whats next, gas stations? Literally no consumers are asking for this.

Oppose. Low vaccination numbers are not due to lack of access. Pharmacies and normal doctors are plenty for access. People know where to go if they want to get vaccinated.

Oppose. Podiatrists do not have the whole health picture of their patients and may not be aware of contraindications that the patient has. All pharmaceuticals have risks, vaccines are not different. This bill would pose an unnecessary risk for patients, and put podiatrists in situations where they may need to provide life saving treatments in the case of anaphylaxis etc. Society currently has plenty of options for places to receive vaccines, this bill is unnecessary.
