This dangerous bill fails to provide privacy protections for Iowans private medical information and lacks any minimum standards or adequate oversight. It also fails to require these crisis pregnancy centers equip people with medicallyaccurate information. Instead, the measure gives a million of taxpayer dollars to CPCs which are known to purposely coerce and mislead pregnant people about their own health care without receiving comprehensive information about their medical options and health status. Lets be clearthis is not intended to increase access to sexual and reproductive health care for Iowans. The purpose of this bill is to fund entities that counsel pregnant people in medically inaccurate, incomplete and harmful ways about their pregnancy options. Instead of contracting with ideological organizations that misled people and endanger their health, we should support medicallylicensed health care professionals who provide the full range of evidencebased counseling and quality health care services. VOTE NO on SF2381!!!!

Every woman should have her right to private and personal health care. That includes the decision of having a child or getting an abortion.

Although I applaud the expansion on Medicaid benefits for new mothers, I ask you to not allocate the money to unproven nonprofits for 'pregnancy counseling ' which is very likely misleading and corersive.

All females have the God given right to bodily autonomy. This includes the right to decide when or if they get pregnant. If they get pregnant and decide not to have a pregnancy the right to end that pregnancy by abortion. If God has a problem with abortion it is between Him and the pregnant person it is not governments place to regulate getting pregnant or terminating a pregnancy.

SF2381 NEEDS to be reconsidered. We don't need CPCs we need comprehensive reproductive healthcare for all, including abortions. We do not need to reduce abortions but rather provide safe means for them to occur (e.g., by trained healthcare professionals). The sexual and reproductive rights of all need to be upheld, and SF2381 does not accurately reflect those rights. Vote no on SF2381.

SF2381 would give $1 million in public funds to organizations who coerce and guilt Iowans into becoming mothers. Not only that, but they provide medically inaccurate and deceiving information. This bill prohibits organizations from referring people to abortion services which is a SAFE and LEGAL medical service. When a person has decided to have an abortion, they deserve to be able to access that care from a qualified medical provider without being tricked, judged, or shamed. But CPCs oppose abortion and judge, shame, and intentionally try to trick people out of getting the care they are seeking. This bill is not right for our state.

VOTE NO on SF2381.Instead please use funds to support real, medically licensed, professional health care providers with a full range of comprehensive information and evidencebased counseling, and quality health care services. Every woman should have a right and choice to access private, personal, safe, comprehensive reproductive health services. This is not it. Again, please VOTE NO on SF2381.

I don't want my tax money going to organizations that lie to women about their reproductive options or try and coerce them into making uninformed decisions.

Politicians who want to ban abortion are hiding their efforts to further their agenda behind a bill that, ironically, would help Iowans by expanding Medicaid coverage for Iowans from three to 12 months postpartum. Its politics at its worst, and Iowans deserve better.

As a Family Practice physician in Iowa for 45 years, I am appalled at the suggestion that the legislature supports organizations that disseminate inaccurate medical information. SF 2381 needs to die in order to maintain the integrity and scientific accuracy of medical professionals.

Iowans should be trusted to make what should be private health care decisions in consultation with their medical provider. They deserve to be given accurate information and a fullrange of medical options. SF2281 is trying to restrict, control and manipulate the information provided to pregnant people. VOTE NO

This is cruelly misleading. Every human deserves to use their medical coverage as they see fit. Acting as though Planned Parenthood is not the mostused source for pre, post, or perinatal care is at best naive and at worst cruel. Making it so that pregnant people are unable to go to a cheap, reliable, trusted source for their care is inhumane. This bill does not expand care, it limits it.

This is dangerous in that it allows people to mislead and misinform women when they are extremely vulnerable. The child unwanted child is at a very high risk or neglect and abuse. So much for caring about babies.
