UEN supports this bill, which has many provisions that provide flexibility of notice requirements that will help school districts reach a broader audience and meet publication timelines and modernize signature processes. In every instance of a change to post notice electronically within this bill, there is a school board decision that is earlier posted on a school board agenda and then again in minutes that are published. We believe these processes strike a balance of utlizing efficient and cost effective notification processes while maintaining public access to information and encourage the subcommittee members to move the bill forward.
