Please support this bill. This bill should get passed as it will make installing solar even more viable for rural properties that have multiple meters. It will also help more Iowans get solar energy for their property as they can partner with a few neighbors to put up a larger array that makes financial sense so they can all save money on utility bills together instead of the current situation where if you don't use much energy in the first place, you would pay more per kW of solar for a smaller system just to cover yourself. In the same way that farmers can collectively group their harvest at the local elevator to get higher prices for larger volumes, it makes sense to let Iowans purchase their own energy from a project that may not be on their property.
