The parental bill of rights is a codification of what many schools are already doing. Passing this bill will make the option to respect parents mandatory. Please pass this bill and demand that schools recognize and respect parents' rights which they were ordained with through our creator.

Please, please pass this Bill. This should not be forced on children. This should be between a parent and doctor. We do Not know long term effects of these shots. Do not force them on school children. It further takes away the right for parents to choose what is best for their child.

I think this is a good start and I appreciate your time working on this bill. The schools have made it clear that they are ok with obscene material being made available to our children in our schools, and it will not change unless change is forced upon them. I do have two questions pertaining to the bill:1. The bill addresses schools having to let parents know what is being taught and what materials are being used. My question is, how are they going to let the parents know? Is it on the parents to ask every teacher, every class, what they are using in their classroom, or is that something the schools need to provide upfront to the parents? Without specifying it is the schools responsibility to provide the parents with the information before it is being used for instruction, I am afraid the obligation will fall on the parents and frankly, it would be impossible for a parent to keep up and to know all that they should be asking for.2. Some parents have addressed concerns with the possibility of singling a student out whose parent does not consent to a book being used for an assignment. My question is, if it does fall upon the school to provide the parents with the information, could the bill specify that in doing so, it has to state if there is obscene material in it? I think that would get more parents attention to look into it, and frankly, might deter teachers from using that material. Thanks for your efforts on this! I appreciate it!

Interested citizen. I second the emotion of Whitney McIntosh & the previous person. AND, The fact that we supposedly need a law on the books to protect the parental rights are recognized over anyone/anything else like a school system is a VERY SAD STATEMENT about how far or society has fallen. Please, pass this bill.
