Good day House Representative's of the Ways and Means committee. I lead a group of advocates which includes family, friends and childhood cancer survivors. We ask that you please vote yes for this bill. We are not paid lobbyists, just Iowan's that are working hard to make a difference for kids with cancer in Iowa. The funding source for pediatric cancer research, whether it's the Senate's version with bill SF2480 which is a tax on Vape and similar products, or the House version with bill HF2758, a Education budget appropriation does not matter to our group as we've been advocating for this funding for 3 years and each of these bills. What these bills fund, does matter, and that is pediatric cancer research at the University of Iowa pediatric oncology division which is lead by Dr. David Gordon. This $3 million will be transformational, using Dave's words. Please move this bill to a full House vote and on to the Governor this session. Thank you! Scott Devyn's dad
