While we will absolutely need regulation of this topic in the near future, the details and timing of this bill at this time are concerning. For example, the need for a 2/3rds majority and supporting evidence/documentation in a fastmoving field that has already harmed people strikes me as in need of careful consideration, deliberation, and discussion. And this at a time when the legislature needs to be carefully considering the budget for Iowa's next fiscal year. No on HSB 766 at this time, please.
