Red Flag laws exist primarily to protect victims of domestic abuse from being murdered by their abusers, which is much easier to do with a firearm than by other means. While a minority of gun owners may feel it is their godgiven right to threaten and intimidate others, the women and children who will die as a result of this bill, and their loved ones, would beg to differ. No on HF 2718.
