OPPOSED. This bill needs to die a swift death in committee. The items restricted in this original bill were put there for the specific reason of keeping any public money from supporting sectarianism. These proposed amendments are set up to allow religious institutions to benefit from taxpayers. IA legislators need to redirect their focus to fully funding our public schools and cleaning up IAs waterways. Stay away from all this culture war and religious influence.

Separation of church and state has served this country very well, until the past few decades when there has been a dedicated push to violate it. No on SF 2231.
