I support this bill. Maternity group homes are vital to helping women in a crisis situation. Services to mothers are provided without charge.They are serving mothers that society has overlooked. They provide training to help moms transform their lives including job skills, education, and parenting skills.They are helping overcome generational issues of poverty, addiction, and abuse. This bill will help ensure success of maternity group homes and continue to make positive long term impacts in Iowa.

Instead of providing more tax cuts to the wealthy under the smokescreen of helping mothers and families, it would be better to help mothers, families, and the economy of this state by making sure these services are readily available to all. A good start would be amending this bill to nullify SF 2422, which will further ruin the economy and healthcare in our state. No on HF 2323.
