I am encouraged by the work being done to address Iowa's cancer rates. Often, the conversations focus on the adult cancers with the highest prevalence in the state. I understand that, and it makes sense that this would be a foundational area of inquiry. However, I very rarely hear discussion or research updates on pediatric cancer affecting Iowas children. Where do the cancers of our youngest Iowans fit into the discussion?
