OPPOSED. There are many things wrong with this additional antivax bill. Penalizing day care providers in this manner will not help the number of day care providers in this state & we already have a shortage. Please vote NO on this bill. It's just bad legislation.

I strongly oppose SF 2345. This bill mandates that schools, childcare providers, colleges, and public health departments prominently include information about immunization exemptions in every vaccinerelated communication, risking confusion and normalizing vaccine refusal at a time when we should be strengthening public health protections. It also imposes excessive $1,000 civil penalties per violation, siphoning scarce education and childcare dollars into the states general fund instead of supporting kids. Exemption information is already accessible under current law. This bill politicizes public health and punishes institutions working to keep children safe.I urge you to vote no on SF 2345.

I am strongly OPPOSED to SF 2345. Exemptions to vaccinations are already available and provided by law. This bill, if passed, would only add confusion to the public in a time where we need to strengthen our vaccination rates. There's already far too much misinformation and confusion regarding vaccination. The penalty is outlandish as well for every individual infraction. Our childcare facilities could be wiped out in a time when we need more available. These moneies should should be spent on our children instead of going into the state coffers.
