At the rate we're driving people out the state, I doubt we need to worry about a housing shortage. Surely communities should have more rights than slumlords?

Stripping away a local jurisdiction's right to regulate land use, while encouraging unchecked residential development in agricultural areas goes against almost all of the stated goals of Chapter 335.2. The provisions of this bill will create more problems than it will solve. Asking Counties to lower property taxes while at the same time taking away their ability to manage growth in a way that ensures that efficient services can be provided, is preposterous.
