While I don't doubt that we could use some more folks trained in the trades, this smells like weakening unions to let flybynight "intermediary sponsors" cash in.If you don't think $14 an hour is competitive, feel free to raise it (and the statewide minimum wage while you're at it).Finally, the Division IX amendment to Section 256.146, subsection 26 paragraph "b" needs to be struck. Educational institutions are pretty good about knowing their own needs for qualifications and training.
