I just want to thank representatives Young, Jones, and Lawler, for bringing this legislation. On social media platforms when we signed consent agreements, most of us didn't understand we were the product, specifically our information and purchase profiles. I have mostly opted out with the exception of five minutes on Facebook here and there. Since this isn't a platform we can opt out of, I would like to thank you for starting to legislate to put guardrails in place.
