Please support SF 516. Students are being data mined via their use of school issued devices. The data collected on these devices is being collected and sold and in some cases hacked by bad actors. Our students should be using books, paper and pencil to learn. Screens are harmful to human health and cognition. Get big tech out of the schools.

I support this bill and study effort. Our students are under immense pressure and influence from multimedia and internet availability in school and other times. Understanding the impact of this increasing portion of school activity is essential to planning and proper use of electronic and internet resources.
