As an Iowan and a Christian I am opposed to this bill. The prevention of learning about the fullness of our history does a tremendous disservice to us and future generations. As a Christian, the beautiful diversity of creation is a thing to celebrate, as every human being has dignity. Just as Jesus stood with and uplifted those on the margins, so should we. Im exhausted by politicians who think they know more about education than the teachers who are doing the actual work. Instead, perhaps you could address actual problems Iowans are facing, such as increasing healthcare, housing, and food costs. Vote NO on this bill.

AGAINST. Why are you the way that you are? These bills are ridiculous. Stop trying to keep children from learning about the world around them just because you refuse to. VOTE NO.
