The agenda for this meeting does not list bills that may be considered. It simply states: "Consideration of bills, as ready." The public cannot prepare any remarks for bills that may be considered at this meeting if it is not informed of the bills that will be considered in advance. Regarding HSB 569, I have no idea what would compel this legislative body to exempt entities identified in items 14 and 15 of Iowa Code section 428A.2 from filing a declaration of value. These two categories are often of great value. Instead of moving toward greater transparency and accountability, you continue to tear down even the most basic vestiges of oversight. And you do so as this country moves further and further into insurmountable debt and its people suffer. I ask that you protect the people and the constitution you swore an oath to represent.
