I love this bill, but I would like to suggest one edit so it's not abusedOn line six of this bill, diagnosed condition is too broad of language. A serious diagnosis like a form of cancer or other life threatening illness or disability should be defined. I have a couple of diagnoses, and if I were an official, I would be able to take money from a lobbyist who was looking for support. We know that would be rare, but we also know that no segment of society is a monolith and the way this bill is written it would easily be abused.I live with my sister who beat cancer twice, and I know how that kind of serious diagnosis can be devastating financially.I think this is a great bill, but we need to be ahead of any potential loophole from the start.
