Please consider EMS as exempt on the bills HF92 and HSB 272 from the TIF diversion on the levy money we receive. This would impact our departments greatly in our rural community.

PLEASE approve HF92 and/or HSB272! Our voters approved Essential Services believing that 422D funds would do totally to EMS. They, nor we, thought we would lose $174K to TIFs that were in place prior to Essential Services. In a small county such as ours $174K is a HUGE amount of money to be taken from our budget!PLEASE follow our voters wishes and the intent of the law. APPROVAL is ESSENTIAL to our citizens. Thank you!!

I am writing on the EMS Levy. Our citizens voted on the EMS levy to fund 24/7 EMS coverage in Ida County. Not to use that money to make TIF payments. Please fix this bill so the all the money goes to EMS and not to pay back TIFS.

There are two very important bills sitting in the house HF92 and HSB272. Both bills would exempt 422D (EMS) levy money from TIF diversion. Please pass these two bills. Our citizens of Ida County approved the EMS levy by vote. They voted that the EMS money be used to fund 24/7 EMS coverage to our county and not be used to pay TIF repayments. Please approve these bills to get this fixed and give our citizens what they voted for.
