I urge a vite of NO on this bill. This would remove the current method of selecting the recount committee and require the county commissioner and staff to conduct tge recount. This removes the ability of the candidates to assign recount members who are acting in their best interest. The bill dies allow eaxh candidate to designate 5 recount watchers, but it is unclear how the watchers can object if they see a problem or disagree with the recount board. I urge a NO vote on this bill.
