Please pass this bill, as it would serve to hinder people from selfdeclaring they hold the beliefs of the opposite political party, simply in order to cast votes in such a way as to negate the will of legitimate voters of that opposite party. It also would protect legitimate candidates, who hold steadfast convictions of one party, from being opposedin a Primaryby a nonserious opposingpartycandidate (who at the last minute declares they're of the same party as the steadfast candidate) simply for the intention of syphoning votes away from that candidate.
